The staff had a few large parties and were extremely busy but did an amazing job at prioritizing and giving us exceptional service, our bartender/server was Tara and she gave us flawless service with a big smile. The food was delicious, we got the crab cakes, arancini, fish and chips, fra Diablo and short ribs, the short ribs were my favorite. For dessert-the creme brulee is a must have!

This was our first time at Fins & Tales. Decided to try it after reading some reviews. Glad we did! It is located in an older building with some beautiful wood work which adds to the ambiance. Started with the risotto cake, which my wife said it was the best she ever had. Our entrees were in-house made gnocchi and meatballs and parmigiana crusted haddock. Both were extremely good and the portions were spot on. Finished the dinner by sharing a brownie sundae that was to die for! One big highlight was the service and staff. Super friendly, informative and attentive! The prices were also very reasonable. We will be returning.

The food here is delicious. I loved my stuffed shrimp, husband loved his braised special. Ricotta cake was unique and we enjoyed that too. We came back for our rehearsal dinner the next week. Tara served us both times and we loved her mellow and charming nature. She handled our large party like a boss, and our guests were raving about their food afterwards. Highly recommend for some great seafood!

This review is regarding my daughter's bridal shower at Fins & Tales on June 8th, 2025. Fins & Tales' staff did everything to make the shower awesome including accommodating food allergies. Everything worked out wonderfully! The event room looked beautiful with the chosen tablecloth and flowers. I was given a choice of 4 different tablecloth and centerpiece options. Several people asked me where the fresh flowers came from; Angelique, the event coordinator did a lovely job of creating these centerpieces. There were extra tables set up for the shower games and guest sign in book. They have a lovely brick wall which gives a romantic atmosphere to the affair. There was plenty of room for all the guests and plenty of time for everything that was planned. The staff gave me a heads up when they were bringing out the food so I could give a few words of welcome. The food at the buffet was more than ample - I went up to the buffet after most of the guests and I saw there were a few portions left of one of the brunch dishes. I was going to ask the staff to refill it but before I got back to my table the staff had brought out a fresh tray. We had a breakfast buffet at our hotel that morning and they were constantly running out of food and with no personnel around to restock the platters. What a difference! Everything was delicious- I enjoyed the chicken and salad especially. I don't know why the dressing tasted so good! The guests really enjoyed themselves. It was almost to the end of the shower that I noticed the coffee was low and I mentioned it to our coordinator and she immediately replaced it. We had such a great time- when things run like clockwork as they did at Fins and Tales on June 8th, it takes pressure off the host so that they can focus on mingling with the guests and other tasks such as running the shower games. As the guests left they told me that they had a great time. We were all very pleased that we chose Fins and Tales for our venue.

We hosted my sisters baby shower here. Angelique made the process effortless. She was kind and made sure my sisters day was PERFECT. Between food and service, I can’t say enough good things!! Thank you!

On a dark and rainy night, we passed through Southbridge, Massachusetts and took refuge at the Fin and Tales. It was almost deserted, although a grand celebration was going on in the back. Service was really great, the atmosphere lovely rustic, and the menu nothing short of mouthwatering. Good beer and wine selection, too. Following bread with butter and an olive tapenade, my son had his usual cheeseburger (Angus), wife had a nice salad with shrimp, and I savoured a poached haddock stuffed with crab. Everything was beautifully presented, well seasoned and very tasty. Well worth the excursion to Southbridge!

Great meal!!! Seared scallops with bacon and apples with honey bourbon glaze to start! Salmon with honey sriracha glaze and Haddock with ginger soy glaze. Wish we were going to be close longer. Thank you!

Amazing!! Food was spectacular, service was beyond excellent! We travel a lot and this has been one of the best seafood we have had in a very long time!!!
